Now, YouTube () is letting anyone launch their own iReport-type site through a program they’re calling YouTube Direct, which they describe as “a new tool that allows media organizations to request, review and rebroadcast YouTube clips directly from YouTube users.”

LinkedIn Groups and Discussions sport ‘new features’

I just saw some changes in LinkedIn Group and discussions and trust me I am pleased.

If you closely look at the following pictures you will see that they have now added “Follow ________” when you open up a discussion page. I guess they took it straight from Twitter!

Also, notice that “Close Comments” tab  (I haven’t checked what it does yet as I am busy writing this first hand update..

However, there is a worrisome change as well – The ‘FEATURED DISCUSSIONS’ are gone… I am sure LinkedIn has good enogh reason for that.. Let’s see in the days to come.

And, here is the new LinkedIn group page.. Notice the new features they have added (no need to go within the group to check new activities) and the ‘People I’m Following’ Widget!
